We had goals to go visit all of our favorite places before we left. We wanted to go to Jerry's for breakfast burritos, have a day at the beach, maybe even a night in downtown. We had plans until Emad got sick. Instead of breakfast at Jerry's we had leftover Bouttoni Pizza. Rather than a day at the beach, we spent the week on our couches. And, instead of an evening in downtown, we enjoyed an evening in Urgent Care.
We are not sure what Emad had. It may have been the flu, or stress, or some weird virus. We will never know. But, thankfully after a week of being sick he is finally feeling better. His mystery illness went away just in time because today is moving day.
