The list of things that I have planned, expected, and hoped for is long. However, when God throws curve balls at me, I am learning to just roll with them and trust that his will is perfect. This past week has been filled with trusting God.
- I thought my husband and I would live in San Diego when we got married. Instead we moved to Long Beach.
- I thought my husband would continue to work full time after we got married and I would be a housewife. Instead he has been looking for a job, I have been working, and he has become a "house-husband".
Two days ago my husband accepted a job in Northern California. I stressed that breaking our lease on our apartment would be a failure, that quitting my job would be impossible, and that we would not be able to find a place to live.
However, God has come through once again! The landlord is not going to penalize us for breaking the lease, I have quit my job and only have three days left, and we are go up North this weekend to find a place to live. We have been so blessed to be surrounded by prayer these last couple weeks and months. God surely has been good to us and we look forward to the adventure that lies ahead of us in Lakeport, CA.
